To change ferrule, grasp ferrule in the area of the groove with a pair of wire cutters using minimal pressure and gently pull ferrule from the threaded stem, wiggling the ferrule if necessary. Insert a new ferrule into the threaded stem and screw connector into a port to seat the ferrule into the threaded stem.
